For sale direct from the owners!

Situated in tranquil surroundings, this impressive Hacienda home offers the new owners great scope for providing a comfortable and very generous family home or/and many different commercial opportunities.

There is so much to say about this wonderful home that the owners have created their own website which offers a huge amount of information, background to the property and full information on the layout of the property https://www.lossec.com

With three main wings, it is easy to separate the business potential from the main home. The Hacienda has been designed around a traditional courtyard which features a large star-shaped fountain. There are plenty of seating areas shaded by the vegetation or pergola. Wall lights provide the necessary illumination for social occasions and there is a bathroom in the courtyard.

Lets give you a little more information about each of the wings

The main residence although built in a traditional style with beamed ceilings and ceramic floor tiling, the house is light, airy and open. Morning sunshine ensures a great start to every day and shade later in the afternoon can be a welcome relief.

The accommodation in the main residence is set across two floors with a large entrance hall, archways through to the lounge and dining room. The lounge is large and square with a substantial stone fireplace, ideal for log fires in winter. Double patio doors open onto the east terrace at the front of the building and into the pergola overlooking the valley at the side of the Hacienda.

The dining room also opens onto the east terrace and benefits from an outside fireplace/oven and BBQ area. The dining room, which comfortably seats ten, leads into the large kitchen through another archway.

The kitchen opens into the walled garden which has been used as a herb garden. From the kitchen, the food preparation/utility room houses a large fridge and freezer, as well as a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Most of the laundry work, however, is carried out in the boiler room, where there is an additional washing machine and ironing facilities.

There is also an under-counter fridge in the main kitchen. The view from the kitchen looks out on to the Sierra Nevada.

An individually designed staircase leads to the first floor with a principal bedroom, bathroom and dressing room. Double doors open onto the bell tower and terrace overlooking the valley. A trompe doeil of the valley through an archway creates a sense of space and openness.

The guest wing the property already has a rural tourism licence and with between 4 and 6 en-suite bedrooms, this is all ready to generate income. These individually designed rooms have bathrooms with marble hand basins and ceramic wall tiles created in a Moorish style. Each room has its own south facing balcony overlooking the Rio Albuuelas Valley.

There is a guest lounge area and a kitchen/dining room in the guest wing.

One of the bedrooms has been designed for disabled access and has, in addition to twin beds (which can be joined), an electric bed.

The barn/commercial wing the large barn wing is an ideal space for exhibitions, conferences, weddings or even as a destination restaurant.

The barn measures 109M2 with a high beamed ceiling and ceramic tiled floor. It opens onto the courtyard via three large retractable doors, ideal for entertaining, performances or exhibitions.

There is a large stone fireplace at one end of the barn, used during winter evening events for the ambience. The area is centrally heated and is therefore suitable for use throughout the year. At the other end of the barn, there is a mezzanine floor which acts as a viewing gallery during performances, as a library and additional bedroom. Below this is a shower room and dressing/storage room, which houses the spiral staircase to the area above.

Large double barn doors provide an exit on the other side and access for deliveries and musical equipment etc. There is also wide screen television for sports events and cinema.

The current owners have hosted a number of different events the natural light makes it particularly successful for art and photographic exhibitions and training courses.

The property is being sold turnkey (with the exception of some prized possessions and personal effects) and being equipped as a small casa rural with conference, function, exhibition and concert facilities. It would make an excellent country club and/or restaurant. Thus, it could be used for commercial purposes.

The entrance wing the fourth side of the Hacienda is the main entrance to the courtyard under the west tower and comprises an office suite, laundry/boiler room.

Swimming pool, Casita/workshop and the car park the swimming pool is set apart from the house, raised up to enjoy the all-round views. Surrounded by trees and vegetation, the area is private and peaceful, with plenty of shade provided.

The casita/workshop is attached to the large water deposit with a terrace above and a seating area.

The car park is substantial and the road encircling the Hacienda means deliveries can be made to any entrance necessary.

Formal gardens and surrounding farmland the property is surrounded by a total of 45,000M2 which can be used as an organic farm (there has been no use of pesticides etc) and produces a wide range of fruit.

The Hacienda itself sits on a flat plateau of around 29,000M2 with more formal garden areas and the internal courtyard. The property overlooks the Lecrin Valley below.

There is an additional finca of 16,000M2 which feels like an enchanted garden, with a small cortijo alongside a lemon grove, a very old ruin and many terraces, some of which are wide and leafy.

There are islands of prickly pear, huge gnarled, old olive trees and almond trees. Different types of oranges, eating and those which make excellent marmalade, are mixed in with mandarins.

One can find fennel and wild asparagus, amid fig and pomegranate trees. Nispero and kaki trees grow well here. The whole finca is encircled by an old wall with four entrances and has its own well water source.

Location the Lecrin Valley and Granada the property is ideally located with easy access from Granada or Malaga airports. just 45 minutes from Granada airport on good, fast and scenic roads. Granada airport is served by City Airport (London) making a weekend visit easy.

The Lecrin Valley remains an unspoilt rural destination and offers excellent access to the coast and Granada city, and ski resort. You really do have the best of both worlds peace and tranquillity and great access to local places of interest.
