The current owners obtained a permit to build the pool before the law changed (no longer permitting the building of swimming pools in the countryside of Andalucia), so, the pool is completely legal and a huge bonus to have.

Outside:

There is plenty of terracing for enjoying the sunshine but with plenty of shaded areas too plus a covered alfresco dining area.

Outbuildings include; the large double garage with lighting and power, a further single garage, plus a shed for storage. So, if a buyer is looking for ample outbuilding for a variety of uses, the opportunities are here. Storing precious motorbikes, setting up an artist studio or a workshop are all viable at this property.

The property is completely private, with breathtaking views which change colour with the seasons. Unless it is hazy the sea at Torremolinos some 30 kilometres away is quite visible and on very clear days, especially in the winter, when they are snow capped, the Sierra Nevada mountains can be seen 90 kilometres away.

Location:

The hamlet of Pastelero, where there are 2 very good bar/restaurants is 1 kilometre away. These bars are very well renowned for both menu del dia (3 or 4 course home cooked meals for lunch with drinks for less than 10) as well very popular evening meals and BBQs using local produce. People drive out of the cities to eat at these restaurants at the weekends.

The bustling, busy and year round lively village of Villanueva de la Concepcin is less than 10 minutes drive and has a selection of bars, restaurants, a supermarket, small shops, banks, a petrol station, car repairers, weekly open market, hairdressers, DIY stores, haberdashery, many bakeries, several butchers, green grocers, fish mongers, parfumeries, pharmacy, dentist, 24 hour medical centre, large sports complex, gym, superb football stadium, open-air swimming pool and more. The village does not die out of season. In Villanueva de la Concepcion, there are no seasons, it is a fun place to be year round with a feria, fiesta or national holidays to look forward to almost every month. It is a working village that thrives because there is work several factories manufacturing underwear, agriculture of all sorts thrives, metal works, olive mills, a business park and the list goes on. Of course, Malaga city is a short drive South and Antequera city a short drive North.

The very historic city of Antequera is approx. 35 minutes drive away with World Heritage Status for the Dolmens. The architecture in Antequera is outstanding and beautiful. Having a Malaga post code as you do with this property is very advantageous as Malaga thrives.

Malaga airport is approximately 50 minutes drive away and you can take a country route down and through the mountain or go via Villanueva de la Concepcion and join the motorway at Caserbermeja.

The house is available fully furnished and equipped if desired (by separate negotiation). If the contents (minus personal items) are wanted, an inventory of the items will be drawn up and go alongside the sales contract however tax by law, will no be paid on these 2nd hand items by either the buyers or sellers. The kitchen has all the appliances in place. There is a new, excellent quality double electric oven, a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble-drier. In the lounge is 40 inch flat screen television. Of course there are the beds, sofas, linen, cutlery etc.
